Yannick Godts is an artist currently based in Washington, D.C. He creates many things, including lighting & scenic design for theater, visual art, and graphic design.

He is the Lighting Supervisor for Pilobolus Dance Theater and has toured with the company since 2013 and designed props and lighting for multiple works in their repertory, as well as many special projects. In D.C. he has designed for Step Afrika!, Dance Place, GALA Hispanic Theatre, Theatre Prometheus, and Duke Ellington School of the Arts, and has worked as an associate at Studio Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, and Arena Stage. New York City credits: La MaMa Moves! Dance Festival, Fall for Dance at New York City Center, the Joyce, New Victory Theater.

In his rare spare time he enjoys cats, reading, hiking, baking, and tending to his houseplants.
